Staff from Parley Place care home in West Parley have been sharing advice and guidance at an event for carers in Wimborne.
All of Barchester Healthcare homes in the Dorset area have been working with Prama for its Carer’s Rights Day 2024.
Prama is a local charity that supports people with a wide range of activities and services to help people enjoy life as they age, as well as unique services for those living with dementia and their families.
Parley Place care home also provided an activities room so carers were able to leave their loved ones with their team to allow the carers time to speak with all of the stall holders and gain support.
Gina Smith, General Manager at Parley Place, said: “We were delighted to support this event, Prama do some great work in the community and we are always pleased to work with them to provide support and spaces for them in our homes.”
