A Mexican-inspired fast-casual dining chain is to be the fifth and final restaurant to join The Dolphin Street Food destination in Poole.
Bournemouth-based start-up Loco Lime joins Chuck and Blade, Noodlebar and Wraps ‘N Roll while Caribbean restaurant Zeen Cuisine opens on September 7.
Loco Lime will move into Unit 92 on the first floor of The Dolphin, next to Foundry Poole.
It will bring Mexican flavours to Poole with a selection of birria tacos, burritos and burrito rice bowls.
John Grinnell, Centre Manager at The Dolphin Poole, said, “We’re pleased to have found another local business that will add to the diverse cuisine offering of The Dolphin Street Food.
“We’re expecting Loco Lime to fit right in, as recent feedback from a social media poll told us that Poole locals would really enjoy having quality Mexican cuisine available in the area.”
Greg Westover, Head of Retail & Leisure at LGIM, owners of The Dolphin, said, “LGIM strives to allow local businesses to thrive, as demonstrated by our continued investment to transform The
Dolphin Poole into a diverse destination with community at its heart.
“The arrival of Loco Lime will only enhance customer experience at The Dolphin, whilst also providing a Bournemouth-based start-up an exciting opportunity to expand.”
Arun Kapila-Husband, Co-Founder of Loco Lime said, “As a recent graduate who has lived and studied in the local area, we feel a strong connection to the community and are eager to give back.
“Being part of The Dolphin is a perfect opportunity to do just that.
“Having already established our Poole takeaway kitchen as one of the highest-rated in the region, expanding into in-store dining allows us to engage more directly with our valued customers.
“The larger kitchen space also gives us the creative freedom to introduce new and exciting menu items, staying true to our passion as chefs first and businessmen second.”
