A police investigation is continuing today into an alleged assault in Christchurch last night.
Officers were called to an address in Glider Close at around a quarter to six after reports that a girl had received stab wounds.
She was taken to hospital but her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
A man in his 20s from Christchurch was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm and a local woman in her 50s was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
They both remain in police custody.
