Man caught smashing car windows with baseball bat in Bournemouth road rage incident

A man has been filmed smashing car windows with a baseball bat in an apparent road rage incident on Castle Lane West in Bournemouth.

In a video posted on social media, a van driver can be seen destroying multiple windows of a nearby car, which was also queuing in traffic.

Another man also suffered an injury and has been spoken to by police.

Dorset Police told Bournemouth One: “We received a report at 3.56pm on Saturday 20 July 2024 of a man in possession of a baseball bat in the area of the Cooper Dean Roundabout in Bournemouth.

“It was further reported that the man had damaged a vehicle and caused an injury to another man.

“The injured man was identified and spoken to. He did not require hospital treatment.

“Enquiries into the incident are ongoing. No arrests have been made.”
