Cyclist with serious injuries taken to hospital following Christchurch accident

A cyclist who sustained serious injuries had to be taken to hospital following an accident in Christchurch on Saturday.

It happened around eight thirty in the morning where a man in his forties collided with a red Jaguar on Lymington Road opposite Sunset Mews. The Jaguar driver was not injured.

Police Constable Rio Baker, of Dorset Police, said: “An investigation is underway to establish the full circumstances and I would ask members of the public who saw what happened and have not yet spoken to police to please come forward.

“I am also appealing to anyone who may have captured anything of relevance on CCTV or dashcam footage to please come forward.”
