A man is due to appear in court following a serious injury collision in Bournemouth 15 months ago.
Dorset Police received a report on January 12 last year of a collision involving a blue Vauxhall Astra and a pedestrian in Florence Road, at the junction with Grantley Road.
The pedestrian – a local man aged in his 60s – was taken to hospital for treatment to serious injuries.
Following an investigation by the Roads Policing Team, a 31-year-old man from Bournemouth has been issued with a postal requisition to appear at Poole Magistrates’ Court this Friday for an offence of causing serious injury by careless or inconsiderate driving.
