One of the world’s most famous – and entertaining – basketball teams is coming to Dorset.
The Harlem Globetrotters have confirmed that Bournemouth is one of the dates on their 2025 UK tour.
They’ll be bringing their trademark basketball wizardry, athleticism and showmanship to the BIC on April 22 next year.

Approaching their 100th anniversary in 2026, the Harlem Globetrotters are considered to have significantly contributed to the global growth of basketball.
Organisers say every game will feature trick shots and expert ball-handling skills with fans able to witness the Globetrotter stars dribble, spin, slam and dunk their way past determined adversaries, the Washington Generals.
The Harlem Globetrotters starred in their own animated TV series in the 1970s and have received celebrity endorsements from Nelson Mandela, Lionel Messi and Usain Bolt, among others.
The UK tour will visit ten locations including Bournemouth.
