A yellow warning for heavy rain is in force for the South of England, including Dorset, until six o’clock tomorrow morning.
The Met Office says there could be the possibility of disruption, especially to transport, as well as the risk of flooding.
A flood alert is also in place for Christchurch Harbour.
High water has been forecast for nine thirty tonight.
