Sandbanks named UK’s property hotspot with asking prices increasing by a fifth

Sandbanks has been named as the UK’s property hotspot with asking prices increasing by a fifth in a single year.

The average price is now just over £1.9 million, according to property website Rightmove.

That compares to an average property price of £355,000 in the rest of the country.

Overall, asking prices in the UK were 1.1 per cent lower at the end of 2023 than at the same time in the previous year.
