Willy Wonka Golden Tickets hidden around town by Verwood Hub

Verwood Hub has hidden four Willy Wonka Golden Tickets around town to celebrate the film being shown in the Merryfield Theatre.

Everyone who finds a ticket will have admission for two people to the new 2023 Wonka film written and directed by Paddington filmmaker Paul Kingby.

The musical film has a cast that includes amongst others Timothee Chalamet, Hugh Grant, Matt Lucas, Olivia Coleman and Rowan Atkinson.

The clues for where to find the Golden Tickets are posted in the Hub and on local social media groups including Verwoodians on Facebook.

Michelle Goodman, Team Manager at the Hub explains the decision to hide the tickets: “Wonka is such a favourite film for children and adults and the new film has received tremendous reviews.

“We thought that it would be great fun to get the residents of Verwood and surrounding areas out and about after Christmas to look for the four Golden Tickets which gives them free admission to our fantastic 7:1 surround sound cinema facility at The Hub.

“Of course, those who don’t find a Golden Ticket will still receive a warm welcome from our Team and with cinema tickets starting at £5.00 for children or a family ticket for 4 costing £19.40 it’s great value.”
