Fire crews are dealing with an incident at the Haven Hotel in Sandbanks.
It is believed a small fire started in a bedroom and the hotel has been evacuated as a precautionary measure.
No road closures are in place but traffic will be slow in the area towards the Sandbank Ferry.
The Sandbanks Community Group report ten fire service units were at the scene along with a crain.
