A Red Wildfire Warning remains in place for Dorset and Wiltshire, with people urged to take extra care due to the ongoing warm and dry weather.
Firefighters are continuing to tackle a heathland fire near the A31, which is still closed, and residents are being asked to avoid the affected areas.

With many people expected to spend time outdoors, everyone is being asked to help protect the countryside and reduce the risk of further fires. Advice includes avoiding barbecues, campfires and camping stoves, especially on heathland and in open spaces. Cigarettes should be extinguished properly and never thrown on the ground or from vehicle windows.
At the beach, people are advised not to use flares, campfires or barbecues, as these could ignite dry vegetation on nearby cliffs. Residents are also asked to avoid having bonfires at home and not to use fireworks or sky lanterns during these extremely dry conditions.
