A man in his 80s is in a life-threatening condition after a collision in Bournemouth.
The incident happened in Belle Vue Road at around 5.30pm on Tuesday 11 August, when a silver Honda Jazz was involved in a collision with the pedestrian, who was taken to hospital.
His next of kin has been informed, while the driver of the Honda was not injured, and officers closed the road so they could carry out a detailed examination of the scene.
Police Sergeant Dave Cotterill, from the Roads Policing Team, said officers wanted to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision, adding: “I am appealing to anyone who saw what happened to please get in touch.”
Police are also asking motorists to check dashcam recordings for anything relevant and contact Dorset Police online or by calling 101 as soon as possible, quoting occurrence number 55260124503, while information can be given anonymously to Crimestoppers.
