A new swimming lesson venue has opened in Talbot Woods for families across Bournemouth.
Swim with Style Dorset has added the private pool to its existing venues in Branksome, Colehill and Moordown, creating a fourth Dorset location for lessons aimed at babies, children, adults and people taking part in specialist SEN sessions.
The school is led by Nicole, who has taught swimming in Dorset for more than 14 years and says helping people become confident around water is important both professionally and personally.
She said Dorset’s beaches, harbours, rivers and open water made it especially important for children to learn how to swim safely and feel comfortable near water.
Lessons at the new Talbot Woods venue will take place in an exclusive-use pool, giving swimmers a quieter environment without the distractions of a shared public session.
The setting is intended to support younger children, nervous beginners and swimmers with additional needs who may benefit from a calmer atmosphere.
Nicole said the new venue would allow more families to access a “safe, supportive and enjoyable environment” while learning an essential life skill.
Bookings are now open for lessons at the school’s 4 Dorset venues.
