A man in his 40s has died after a collision on Wessex Way in Bournemouth.
Police were called at 4.04pm on Friday 3 July 2026 after a collision involving an electric unicycle between Bournemouth West Roundabout and Richmond Hill Roundabout, with emergency services attending the scene.
The rider was pronounced dead at the scene and his family has been informed, while road closures were introduced so emergency crews could respond and officers could examine the area.
Sergeant Dave Cotterill said officers were investigating the “full circumstances” and wanted to hear from witnesses who had not already spoken to police.
He also urged drivers with dashcam footage from the area at the time to check whether it could help the investigation, adding that closures were necessary because of the “serious nature” of the incident.
