Boy injured in Poole bike and car collision

A nine-year-old boy riding his bicycle was involved in a collision with a car near the Asda garage in Culliford Crescent, Poole.

The incident happened between 3.15pm and 4pm on June 18th and the driver of the car did not stop at the scene.

The boy did not suffer any serious injuries, according to police. Police Constable Megan Norbury said there is currently no description of the car involved, but officers hope someone may remember seeing the incident.

She urged anyone who witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage to contact the police.

The officer also appealed directly to the driver to come forward and provide their account of what happened.
