Bournemouth Pier Fireworks will return every Friday night from 24 July until 28 August.
The displays will begin at 10pm and are set to run across 6 consecutive Friday evenings, bringing fireworks back to Bournemouth’s seafront during the peak summer holiday period for residents and visitors.
Funding has been provided by Bournemouth Coastal BID’s hoteliers and seafront levy-paying businesses, in partnership with BCP Council, allowing the events to return as part of the town’s summer programme.
Organisers say the displays are intended to enhance the visitor experience while encouraging people to stay longer in the central area, supporting businesses during one of Bournemouth’s busiest periods of the year.
People attending the events are being encouraged to make an evening of their visit by using nearby venues, including restaurants, bars and hotels around the seafront and town centre.
The BID said visitors could support businesses by “booking a table, grabbing a drink or making a night of it with a stay at a hotel”.
The first display is planned for Friday 24 July, with the final fireworks scheduled for Friday 28 August.
Poole Quay usually has summer fireworks too, but no information has been shared so far with Bournemouth One.
