A man in his forties from Bournemouth was seriously injured in an assault involving a suspected machete outside G and T’s on Wimborne Road in Winton.
The incident happened in the early hours, with five male suspects described as white, wearing balaclavas, and riding four bikes. Two of the suspects wore all-dark clothing, while the other three had dark jumpers and lighter trousers.
Detectives have released two CCTV images, hoping they may help jog someone’s memory.
Officers are particularly interested in hearing from anyone who saw a group of five people on four e-bikes or pit bikes in the area between midnight and 2am.
Police are also asking for any relevant mobile phone, dashcam, doorbell camera or CCTV footage. Officers remain available in the community for anyone with information or concerns.
