Five people have been arrested after an 18-year-old man died from a suspected stab wound in Poole.
Dorset Police were called at 2.13am on Friday 19 June 2026 after the man was found with injuries in Longfleet Road.
The victim, who was from Poole, was taken to hospital but was pronounced dead a short time later.
Police believe the injuries were sustained during an incident in Dale Close, and that the man was then taken by car to Longfleet Road. A cordon remains in place in Dale Close while officers examine the suspected scene.
A 20-year-old man from Poole and two men from Bournemouth, aged 36 and 38, have been arrested on suspicion of murder. A 22-year-old man from London and a 22-year-old man from Bletchley in Buckinghamshire have been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender. All five remain in police custody.
Detective Superintendent Neil Third said the victim’s family had been informed and that police understand the concern this incident has caused in the community.
Police are appealing for anyone with information or relevant CCTV, doorbell camera or dashcam footage from Dale Close or Longfleet Road around the time of the incident to come forward.
