A man in his twenties from Wimborne was arrested after several vehicles were damaged and a person assaulted on Churchill Road in Poole late on Thursday 18 June 2026.
Dorset Police said they received a report at around 11.30pm that a man was causing criminal damage to vehicles in the area.
At least ten vehicles were affected, with wing mirrors broken and some windows or windscreens smashed during the incident.
It was also reported that a member of the public was assaulted.
Officers attended the scene and arrested the man on suspicion of criminal damage and assault. He remains in police custody while enquiries continue.
Investigations Officer Alice Harmsworth said police are keen to hear from any witnesses or further victims who have not yet spoken to officers. Alice also encouraged anyone with relevant mobile phone, dashcam, doorbell camera or home CCTV footage to come forward.
