Dorset Police has arrested a 17-year-old boy from Poole on suspicion of inflicting grievous bodily harm.
The arrest relates to an incident outside Soundwaves Bar on Poole Quay at around 3am on Sunday 29 March 2026.
Police say a man in his 30s was punched multiple times in the face and head, causing him to fall to the ground and lose consciousness.
The victim was taken to hospital and received treatment for a broken jaw.
The teenager has been released under investigation while detectives continue their enquiries.
