Dorset Police says the incident happened at around 12.05am on Saturday 2 May 2026 outside Munchies in Old Orchard Road, Poole.
It was reported that a woman was assaulted by two women who were not known to her.
The victim did not need immediate medical treatment at the time, but later attended hospital seven days after the incident.
Detectives have now released CCTV images of two women they would like to identify as part of the investigation.
Chris Bradford said officers are also keen to hear from any witnesses who were in the area at the time and have not yet spoken to police.
