BCP Council is reminding residents to bring valid photo ID when voting in the town council elections on 7 May.
A total of 136 polling stations will be open across Bournemouth, Broadstone and Poole between 7am and 10pm.
Accepted forms of ID include passports, driving licences and some concessionary travel passes.
Fifty councillors will be elected across the three new town councils.
Officials are urging voters to check their polling station details before travelling to vote.
