AFCB win 3-0 against Crystal Palace

Bournemouth secured a 3-0 home win against Crystal Palace with a controlled performance throughout.

The home side took the lead early when a cross into the box resulted in an own goal from Jefferson Lerma, before continuing to apply pressure with a series of corners and attacking moves.

Their advantage was extended in the 32nd minute when Junior Kroupi converted a penalty after Marcos Senesi was fouled in the area, giving Bournemouth a 2-0 lead at half time.

Crystal Palace made changes at the break and created some chances early in the second half, but Djordje Petrovic made a key save to maintain the clean sheet.

Bournemouth continued to look dangerous going forward and added a third goal in the 77th minute when Rayan finished a fast break, with David Brooks providing the assist.

Palace came close late on when Ismaïla Sarr hit the post, but the visitors were unable to find a way through as Bournemouth managed the closing stages.

There were also several substitutions as the game progressed, allowing Bournemouth to rotate their squad while maintaining control of the match.

The result sees Bournemouth take all 3 points with a clean sheet, following a performance that combined early pressure, clinical finishing and defensive organisation.

The Cherries now go sixth in the Premier League as they extended their unbeaten run to 15 games.
