Wimborne woman banned from keeping dogs

A woman from Wimborne has been banned from keeping dogs for five years after admitting animal welfare offences.

Kay Frances Florence Holloway pleaded guilty following an investigation by the RSPCA.

The case involved footage recorded inside her home, which showed her verbally and physically mistreating two dogs over a period of time.

The videos were passed to the RSPCA by a neighbour who became concerned after viewing the recordings.

Holloway was fined more than £1,400, ordered to pay costs and a surcharge, and the dog in her care has since been rehomed.

An RSPCA inspector said the behaviour was repeated and not an isolated incident, adding that animals should always be treated with kindness and compassion.
