A338 Spur Road in Bournemouth is blocked due to an incident involving horses this afternoon, on the approach to Blackwater for Hurn.

Dorset Police tells us: “We received a report at 11.50am on Tuesday 21 April 2026 of horses loose on the southbound carriageway of the A338 Spur Road near Christchurch.
“Officers are in attendance and traffic is being managed while the incident is dealt with.”
Traffic being filtered off at Blackwater as of 1.40pm.
