AFC Bournemouth have confirmed Marco Rose will become the club’s new head coach this summer.
The 49-year-old has signed a 3-year contract and will officially begin the role after the end of the 2025/26 season, with the club saying he arrives on the south coast with experience at the highest level of European football.
Rose has previously managed Red Bull Salzburg, Borussia Mönchengladbach, Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig, giving Bournemouth a new head coach with a strong background in top level domestic and European competition ahead of the new season.
For now, the focus at Vitality Stadium remains on the current campaign, with Bournemouth saying everyone is fully committed to finishing the season as strongly as possible and building on the club’s current 13-game unbeaten run.
The club said it is “delighted” to confirm the appointment and that everyone at AFC Bournemouth is looking forward to welcoming Rose to the stadium when he starts work as head coach in the summer.
