Dorset Police will be taking part in a volunteer fair in Bournemouth later this month.
The Community Action Network event will be held on Wednesday April 29 from 10am to 1pm at Citygate Church on Holdenhurst Road.
The session will be a relaxed drop-in event where people can speak with officers, staff and volunteers.
Visitors will be able to learn more about roles within the Citizens in Policing team, including becoming a Special Constable.
Organisers say it is a chance to explore volunteering in a low-pressure environment over a coffee and informal chat.
Applications are currently open for those interested in joining as volunteer police officers.
