Hundreds join hospice sunset walk fundraiser

More than 450 people from across the south coast have taken part in a charity walk in support of Forest Holme Hospice Charity.

The inaugural Sunset Walk began at Branksome Dene Community Room and led participants to Evening Hill overlooking Sandbanks and Poole Harbour.

Walkers of all ages gathered to remember loved ones and raise funds for hospice care.

The event was supported by Care South, with staff and residents from Marjorie House also taking part.

Organisers say the evening created a powerful sense of community, with participants sharing stories and supporting each other.

The event has raised more than £16,000 so far, helping fund palliative and end-of-life care for local families.

Supporters are now hoping the Sunset Walk will return as an annual event.
