A 9,000 sq ft office move will bring new jobs into Bournemouth town centre.
Trethowans has secured the second floor at Bobby’s, taking the final remaining floor in the building and giving the firm substantially more space than its current base, with the expanded office due to open in early summer.
The firm said the town centre decision was deliberate, despite other relocation opportunities, because it wanted to stay in Bournemouth and support regeneration, while creating room to grow its team, broaden services across the region and recruit in Dorset.
Managing Partner Mike Watson said the permanent home showed an “absolute commitment” to Dorset and Bournemouth, adding that the office would give staff a “modern, collaborative environment” and the capacity needed to keep growing the local team.
Bobby’s director Andy Birt called the deal a significant moment for the building, saying Trethowans taking the final floor strengthens the mix of tenants at the site and adds to Bournemouth’s growing role in Dorset’s legal sector.
