A Poole bus engineer has been named Employee of the Year by local operator Morebus after being praised for his dedication and teamwork.
Nathan Clarke, who works at the company’s Poole depot, was recognised for his commitment to keeping buses in the best possible condition and supporting colleagues across the region to ensure services continue running smoothly.
Morebus managing director Ed Wills said he had heard nothing but positive feedback from Nathan’s colleagues and described him as well respected across the engineering team and wider business. He said Nathan has a can do attitude, is always willing to assist in Poole and other locations, and is completely dedicated to keeping the fleet on the roads so customers are not left without a bus. He added that the recent success of the Poole depot at the UK Bus Awards reflects the efforts of Nathan and his colleagues.
Nathan said he was deeply honoured to receive the award and proud of the shared commitment shown by engineering and operations teams at the depot.
In recognition of his achievement, he received vouchers and a framed certificate.
