Free breakfast for Dorset founders

A free business breakfast in Poole next week will support aspiring entrepreneurs across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole.

The Start-Up Business Breakfast takes place on Tuesday 3 March at Evolve Townhouse in Poole and is being delivered by business advisory firm Evolve in partnership with BCP Council, with places open to residents considering launching a company or within their first 3 years of trading.

The morning event aims to provide a supportive setting where founders can meet others at a similar stage, hear directly from local business owners and learn more about funding, networks and support available within the BCP area.

A panel discussion will feature 3 Dorset-based founders who have built businesses locally, including Joe Hayes of Kindful Creative, Adam Thompson of Photo Experience and Natalie Furness of RevOps Automated, with the session hosted by David Mutton, Business Advisor at Evolve.

Mr Mutton said starting a business can feel “very exciting, but daunting at the same time” and described the breakfast as a chance for people to ask questions, hear real experiences and understand they are not facing challenges alone.

The event is funded by BCP Council through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, with advance registration required.
