Police in Bournemouth are appealing for witnesses after a burglary at a home on Wilfred Road.
Officers say the incident happened between around 3:30pm and 4:55pm on Tuesday, when entry was gained to the property and a number of items were taken. Stolen items included jewellery, laptops, cash, a wallet and bank cards, with a silver and diamond engagement ring among the jewellery reported missing.
Following CCTV enquiries, the offender is described as white, of stocky build, wearing a dark coloured hooded jacket and light coloured trousers. Police are now continuing enquiries in the area and are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen suspicious activity nearby.
Police Constable Sarah Dutton, of Bournemouth police, said: “We are carrying out a number of enquiries into this burglary and I am keen to hear from anyone with information that might assist our investigation.”
Officers would like to speak to anyone who was in Wilfred Road, Crabton Close or Beechwood Avenue at the time, as well as residents who may have captured relevant footage on home CCTV systems, doorbell cameras or dashcams.
