Vikki Slade loves Mid Dorset and North Poole

A new constituency-wide campaign has been launched inviting residents to share photographs of places they value across the mid Dorset and north Poole areas.

The Love MDNP project is asking people to submit images of favourite locations, ranging from countryside and heathland to town centres, parks and lesser-known spots, with entries open until 6 February as part of the first stage of the campaign.

After submissions close, a shortlist will be chosen and put forward to a public knockout vote, allowing residents to select their favourite image, with the photographer of the winning entry named the Love MDNP champion.

The campaign has been set up to highlight the area’s varied landscapes and communities, while encouraging people to take notice of the places that shape everyday life across the constituency.

Launching the initiative, Vikki Slade MP said she has lived in the area for more than 25 years and believes there is beauty across its heathlands, streams, towns and villages, adding that the campaign is about sharing places that bring a sense of pride or enjoyment.

Residents can get involved by submitting photographs during the first stage of the campaign through Vikki Slade’s website or by following her social media channels before the deadline.
