German Doner Kebab opens in Bournemouth
A new German Doner Kebab restaurant has opened in a former KFC in Bournemouth, bringing the brand to the town for the first time.
The restaurant has launched at the Royal London House building to serve a wide mix of residents, students, commuters and day trippers.
Customers can choose from a menu that includes meats, fresh salads, signature sauces and toasted sesame waffle bread, with food prepared to order and served as part of a modern take on the traditional kebab experience.
All items on the menu are halal, with options ranging from classic kebabs and rice bowls to boxed meals and a selection of sides and desserts that are available for dine in or takeaway.
Simon Wallis, chief executive of German Doner Kebab, said Bournemouth has “a strong sense of community” and described the opening as an opportunity to introduce the brand’s approach to kebabs to more people along the South Coast.
The Bournemouth opening follows continued expansion for the business across the UK and marks the first time the brand has established a presence in the town.
The restaurant is now welcoming customers seven days a week, offering both sit in and takeaway options from its new Bournemouth location.
