Firms wanted for budget consultation chat
Businesses across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole are being invited to a budget consultation event for the council’s plans over the next couple of years.
The session is due to take place at the BCP Civic Centre in Bournemouth on Friday, 30 January 2026, with businesses able to attend between 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM.
The council says the event is open to all businesses based within the BCP area and is intended to support discussion around budget planning and priorities.
Councillor Mike Cox, Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Finance, is set to host the consultation alongside Aidan Dunn, Chief Executive Officer, and Adam Richens, Director of Finance.
Businesses with specific access requirements are being asked to email events@dorsetchamber.co.uk ahead of the consultation.
BCP Council is encouraging firms across the conurbation to take part so they can hear directly from senior leaders involved in setting financial plans.
