Kaiser Chiefs set for Poole festival

Kaiser Chiefs will make their Poole debut next summer when they headline Poole Harbour Festival as it celebrates its tenth anniversary.

The band has been one of the most requested acts by festival goers, and organisers say securing them is an important moment for the event.

Scouting For Girls, Heather Small, Dodgy, Artful Dodger and East 17 are also confirmed, along with a strong DJ line up including Groove Armada, Judge Jules, Seb Fontaine, Leeroy Thornhill, Dave Pearce and Ben Ofoedu.

Festival organiser Serena Wren said many people had asked to see Kaiser Chiefs perform in Poole and described the anniversary line up as a major milestone. She said the festival still showcases local artists and tribute acts.

The event will return to Baiter Park on Poole Harbour with offsite camping available and shuttle buses connecting Bournemouth, Westbourne, Branksome and Poole.
