Council to host winter wellbeing Q&A
Residents across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole are invited to join a live online Question and Answer session today focusing on wellbeing and staying healthy this winter.
The broadcast, led by Council Leader Councillor Millie Earl, will take place from 12.15pm today, Tuesday 4 November, on BCP Council’s social media channels. She will be joined by Councillor David Brown, Cabinet Member for Health and Wellbeing, to answer questions from residents and share information on local support.
Topics will include help for those struggling with the cost of living, ways to stay well during the colder months, and details of council services available for vulnerable adults.
Councillor Earl said that feeling connected to the community plays a vital role in maintaining both mental and physical health, particularly during the winter when isolation can increase. She added that the live session will offer practical advice and guidance on accessing wellbeing support across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole.
Residents can submit questions in advance through the council’s social media channels, with those related to the theme being prioritised. The session will also be available to watch afterwards for anyone unable to join live.
Information about support services is available at here, and the session will be streamed on BCP Council’s YouTube channel.
