Three fireworks displays to light up Bournemouth

Families are set for an evening of colour and noise as Bournemouth Fireworks returns to Littledown Park with three displays and more attractions.

The event, on Saturday 8th November, will feature fireworks at 7pm, 8pm and the White Knuckle finale at 9pm. Each display will include a mix of sound and colour, with the final show promising the loudest fireworks in the south.

Live entertainment includes fire performers, a Foo Fighters tribute band, and free have-a-go sports sessions for over-fives on the Littledown pitches. The Indoor Family Zone will feature bouncy castles and activities from the Revolution Cheerleading Academy, alongside more food stalls and a larger bar area.

Event director Ben Dyas said the show has been part of Bournemouth’s Bonfire Night celebrations for over 25 years. “People that came as children are now bringing their own families,” he said.

Bournemouth Fireworks works with Pains, the UK’s largest professional fireworks company, which offsets the emissions from each display through tree planting. The company also uses recyclable materials and bio-fuels to reduce its environmental impact.
