Health support pop-up at Boscombe Arts Depot
A free health and support pop-up will take place at Boscombe Arts Depot from Monday 6 to Saturday 11 October.
Staff and students from Health Sciences University will be on hand to offer a wide range of services designed to support the community’s health and wellbeing.
Visitors can access musculoskeletal triage and signposting, group exercise sessions, foot care advice and NHS health checks without the need for an appointment.
The pop-up is being delivered in partnership with BEAF, Help and Care and CAN, who will also provide support including mental health services, lifestyle guidance and social care advice.
Daniel Heritage, Chiropractic Clinic Lead at Health Sciences University, said the event was about reaching as many people as possible in Boscombe. “Being able to be based on Boscombe high street for this event will allow us to see even more members of the community, offering free health and support services.”
The initiative aims to act as a one-stop shop for advice and services, recognising that poor health can impact work and wider economic productivity.
The Health and Support Pop-Up will run each day from 10am until 4pm at Boscombe Arts Depot, located at 616-622 Christchurch Road. See more here.
