A Southbourne-based property agency is celebrating sixty five years of service to landlords, tenants and holiday visitors in Bournemouth and beyond.
Bournecoast Property Agents was founded in nineteen sixty by Major W G Webb and has remained a family-run business ever since. His son-in-law Keith Simmons MBE later took on the role of Managing Director, before his children Des Simmons, Veronica Strongman and Anita Molavi became directors and took over the running of the company.
The firm has built its reputation on managing, selling and letting residential and self-catering properties in the area. Over the decades, it has developed expertise in the buy-to-let market and more recently has expanded with the launch of its sister company Holiday Seekers. This new business aims to broaden property management services for owners while enhancing the experience of holidaymakers.
The company has also joined forces with Bournemouth-based Not Just Travel, strengthening its presence in both the property and tourism markets.
Managing Director Des Simmons said the agency’s approach is about blending experience with innovation to meet the needs of tenants, holidaymakers and property investors. Director Anita Molavi added that the milestone year has been made even more special with award nominations, including Des Simmons being shortlisted for the Industry Leader Award at the DMB Tourism Awards two thousand twenty five. Bournecoast itself is also nominated for the People’s Choice Award.
