
Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision near Wimborne that has left a motorcyclist with life changing injuries.
The crash happened at around 2.48pm on Saturday 16 August this year on Parsonage Hill in the area of Gussage St Michael. It involved a black Volkswagen Polo and a white Moto Guzzi V100 Mandello motorbike.
Emergency services were called to the scene and the rider of the motorbike, a man aged in his fifties, was taken to hospital for treatment. His injuries are believed to be life changing.
Police Sergeant Richard Stroud, of the Roads Policing Team, said enquiries are continuing into the circumstances of the collision. He added: “I would ask anyone with dashcam footage to please come forward. I am keen to hear from anyone who saw what happened or the manner of driving or riding of the vehicles involved in the moments leading up to the collision.”
Officers are urging anyone who witnessed the incident or who may have relevant dashcam footage from the area at the time to get in touch.
