Savills Central South Planning has been appointed as one of the lead consultants for the planned redevelopment of AFC Bournemouth’s Vitality Stadium.
The appointment marks a major step in the club’s long-term growth plans, which include expanding the stadium to a capacity of around 20,200 seats and introducing a new fan zone within an extended perimeter.
Savills is leading on a wide range of planning and environmental services, including landscape, sustainability, ecology, noise, air quality, development and economics.
Planning director Peter Lamb said the expansion will support the club’s ambitions in the Premier League while also boosting the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole economy.
The phased redevelopment will refurbish, replace and expand existing stands, with the first stage expected to be ready by the start of the 2026/27 season.
Savills previously supported the delivery of the club’s £40 million training facility at Canford, which opened last year.
