Live chocolate kitchen coming to Ringwood High Street this September

A new artisan chocolate shop with a live kitchen visible from the street is opening on Ringwood High Street this September.

Bartlett de Choc, founded by local couple Tracy and Nick Bartlett, will launch its flagship store on Thursday 5 September. Visitors will be able to watch chocolates being made in real time, take part in chocolate-making workshops, and browse handmade creations in a setting inspired by art galleries.

The business has built a following through local markets, online sales and bespoke event commissions. The new store will be the first physical location for the brand, allowing customers to see the process behind the glossy marbled domes and delicate flower-shaped bon bons Bartlett de Choc is known for.

Tracy Bartlett trained at Le Cordon Bleu and is mentored by a pastry chef from The Dorchester. Nick Bartlett, a mixed media artist, has designed the interior using hand-crafted nature-inspired pieces.

The shop will offer small batch chocolates featuring ingredients like mandarin, miso, lemon, and honey from their own hives.

The team plans to run chocolate-making classes, collaborate with local schools and offer mentoring opportunities for aspiring chefs.

The store will add to Ringwood’s growing food and drink scene, with a focus on craftsmanship, community and creativity.
