Jet2 has confirmed that six routes due to launch from Bournemouth Airport in summer 2026 have now been withdrawn, following a review of its flying schedule.
The airline, which began operating from Bournemouth in February this year, had originally planned to expand its offering by basing a third aircraft at the airport next summer. However, flights to Malaga, Dubrovnik, Jersey, Reus and Verona will no longer go ahead as planned. A previously announced route to Kos is still expected to launch.
Customers who had booked seats on the cancelled routes will be contacted directly and issued a full refund, according to the company.
Jet2 began operating from Bournemouth last year with 16 initial routes to destinations across Spain, Portugal, Greece and Turkey. A spokesperson said the decision to remove the six destinations was part of a wider review and that flight schedules are adjusted from time to time in line with demand.
The airline added that a full programme of services is still available from Bournemouth Airport for summer 2026.
