
A man in his 30s was taken to hospital after being stabbed during a mobile phone robbery in Bournemouth early this morning.
Emergency services were called to Derby Road at around 5am today, where the man was found with suspected stab wounds. Dorset Police attended the scene along with ambulance crews, and a cordon was put in place for forensic examination.
The man was taken to hospital for treatment. His injuries are not believed to be serious.
Police say an investigation is underway, with officers carrying out enquiries in the area. This includes reviewing CCTV and speaking with residents to understand what led up to the attack.
No arrests have been made at this stage.
Police are asking anyone with information to come forward.
