The Westbourne Motor Show returns today as the official opening event of the British Motor Show calendar.
The free event runs from 10am to 2pm on Seamoor Road in Westbourne and will include around 80 classic and performance cars, more than twice the number on display last year.
You can even see the ‘classic’ Bournemouth One Ford StreetKA and say hi to the Blue Crew.
Organised by Bournemouth Coastal BID, the event is supported by the British Motor Show and will be hosted by well-known automotive presenters Tim Shaw and Sam Hard.
The show’s footprint has been expanded to run from The Westbourne Pub to Gossip Restaurant, with traders along the route offering themed displays, entertainment and activities.
The Westbourne Business Association will run a Mega Tombola at the event to raise money for the area’s Christmas light installation, with tickets available at the Westbourne Traders Tent in front of the Arcade.
Tim Shaw, known for TV shows including Car SOS and Street Genius, and YouTuber Sam Hard will present the event and meet visitors throughout the day.
Local businesses are taking part to help showcase Westbourne as a destination for residents and visitors.
This is the second year of the Westbourne Motor Show and follows what organisers described as a successful debut last year.
The show is designed to be family friendly, combining automotive displays with community involvement and support for local causes.
