Witness appeal following concern for welfare incident in Bournemouth

Dorset Police is asking for information after a report of concern for the welfare of a woman travelling in a VW Golf in the Endfield Road area of Bournemouth.

The report was made at 2.31pm on Saturday 19 April 2025 and stated that the car left Endfield Road at speed and continued along Malvern Road towards Charminster.

Officers are working to identify the vehicle’s occupants and understand the circumstances surrounding the incident.

The car involved is described as a dark-coloured VW Golf, possibly grey or silver, driven by a man wearing a green hoodie.

Police are appealing to anyone who saw the vehicle or any unusual behaviour in the area at the time of the incident.

They are also keen to hear from residents or drivers who may have relevant footage captured on CCTV, doorbell cameras or dashcams.

Chief Inspector Neil Third has urged the vehicle’s occupants to come forward so that their welfare can be confirmed.
