“We like to break records” – Iraola sets sights on strong finish for Crystal Palace vs AFC Bournemouth

AFC Bournemouth are travelling to Crystal Palace today and plan to keep up the record-breaking season they have had so far.

After recent matches have been difficult for the team, the return to form on Monday has been a shock to some but not to Iraola.

Speaking on the team’s Bounce-back win against Fulham on Monday, Iraola said, “We haven’t changed anything. Our standards are the same, and we have to keep pushing.”

He also considered the challenges in their next match: “It’s not gonna be easy to have chances against them.”

Whilst Iraola hopes to keep up with the standard set at the start of the season, he knows it will be hard to keep up with their record-breaking ways.

“It’s good that we’re showing some consistency..

With few games remaining, it’s clear Iraola has a plan: stay focused, stay sharp and keep pushing.

Crystal Palace vs AFC Bournemouth kicks off at 3pm at Selhurst Park today, Saturday 19th April 2025.
