A coach driver was taken to hospital after a collision on the A31 at Ringwood this afternoon.
It is believed that the cause of the crash, which happened at Poulner Hill around 1.30pm, may have been due to a medical incident.
A 49 seater coach with 15 occupants and one private motor vehicle were involved.
One lane of the main carriage way, and the entry slip road, was blocked to traffic causing congestion on the approaches – with congestion still in the area.
Hampsire Police tells us they were called at 1.39pm to reports of a collision on the A31 sliproad, adding that a coach had been in collision with the central reservation.
No other injuries have been reported.
